What Happened to Tony from Escape To The Dream?
Tony Briggs originally moved from Middlesbrough, UK to Chateau De Lalacelle (with their YouTube channel named Escape To The Dream) in 2020 with Tracy, Jonathan, Terry, and Ash.
Initially, everyone lived in camper vans (caravans) on the property, but Tony, Tracy, and Jonathan set to work on renovating the cottage to their 3-bedroom home as their first priority.

In this early episode of “Escape To The Dream”, (below) we meet the family who moved to Chateau De Lalacelle.
Tony talks with Ash in the salon about their process of finding and choosing Chateau De Lalacelle and moving from England to France. In this video, Tony says he’s a retired engineer after 40 years.
What Happened to Tony From Chateau De Lalacelle?
The last episode where Tony appeared in the “Escape To The Dream” series on YouTube was this landscaping episode published in February 2023. It seems like Tony is not currently living at the chateau, or we would assume he would have appeared in more recent videos.
Terry answers some viewers asking “Where Is Tony from Chateau De Lalacelle?”:
After many questions and comments on YouTube videos and social media posts, Terry, Ash and Tracy let us know toward the end of the Escape To The Dream video (below) about the walled garden that Tony is in good health and is sorting out some family circumstances.
Like all Chateau De Lalacelle fans, we wish him the best and hope to see Tony back soon.

Terry: A lot of you have been asking how Tony is and where Tony is in the videos. He’s absolutely fine. There’s nothing to worry about. He’s just dealing with a couple of family things at the moment so that’s why he’s not been in the videos and things like that. So please don’t worry. There’s nothing to worry about.
Tracy: No, we’ll keep you updated with anything that goes on and anything in the future and what happens.
Ash: And if anything changes.
Tracy: We’ll keep you updated, absolutely, but he’s fine. His health’s absolutely fine and everything, but he’s just sorting some stuff out.
Terry: Yep, but in the mean time you’ve got us.
